Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

On Left and Right Dislocation: A Dynamic Perspective
The paper argues that by modelling the incremental and left-right process of interpretation as a process of growth of logical form (representing logical forms as trees), an integrated typology of left-dislocation and right-dislocation phenomena becomes ...

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

Left-Dislocation versus Topicalization, a Semantic Characterisation of the former
A homogeneous analysis of left-dislocation and topicalisation as movement to first position is not felicitous in light of the different grammatical behaviour of both processes. As a consequence, it has been generally agreed that left-dislocation involves

BackgroundPalmar-divergent dislocation of the lunate and scaphoid is a rare high-energy trauma with complex injured mechanism. Early diagnosis and surgery are necessary, however, there is no consensus on surgical treatment, as only a few literatures have

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

We will see how it is reasonable to speak of a minimum distance that an element must cross in order to enter into a well-formed movement dependency. In the course of the discussion of this notion of anti-localiry, a theoretical framework unfolds which is

Time‐Dependent Oxidation and Scale Evolution of a Wrought Co/Ni‐Based Superalloy
This study shows how a new wrought Co/Ni‐based superalloy resists oxidation at 800 ∘$^\circ$C. The oxide scale changes from rough, fast‐growing spinel to a dense, protective chromia–alumina layer. Atom probe analysis reveals tiny refractory‐rich bubbles at the interface that mark the transition to long‐term, diffusion‐controlled protection ...

Filtering Left Dislocation Chains in Parsing Categorial Grammar
This paper reports on a way to reduce the complexity of the process of left dislocation (re)construction for categorial grammar in the case of lexically assigned gaps, as an additional restriction on the complexity arising from lexical polymorphism in ...
