β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2025.
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...

Experimental Evaluation of 100Cr6 Steel Microindented Surfaces Under Lubricated Nonconformal Point Contacts

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

On the Lightweight Potential of Laser Additive Manufactured NiTi Triply Periodic Minimal Sheet Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores the lightweight potential of laser additive‐manufactured NiTi triply periodic minimal surface sheet lattices. It systematically investigates the effects of relative density and unit cell size on surface quality, deformation recovery, compression behavior, and energy absorption.

Electrochemical Evaluation of Compressed Selective Laser Melted AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg Alloys in Chloride Environment

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The corrosion performance of AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg alloys produced through selective laser melting (SLM) was examined under compressive stress in a chloride environment. Electrochemical analyses, including open‐circuit potential (OCP), potentiodynamic polarization (CPP), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), were complemented by scanning ...

Diagnosis and management of toe dislocations: Insights from a case series

open access: yesTrauma Case Reports
Toe dislocations can lead to chronic pain and impaired function if not promptly diagnosed and treated. In this paper, we describe a series of complex interphalangeal (IP) and metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint dislocations and their subsequent surgical ...

Microstructural Evolution and Vacancy Defect Formation in Mn–Mo–Ni RPV Steel Under Low Cycle Fatigue: Insights From EBSD and PALS

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

Syntactic Features of Left Dislocation Constructions in Post-Exilic Biblical Hebrew: SBL Annual Meeting 2020 Linguistics and Biblical Hebrew Seminar: Syntax of Late Biblical Hebrew

open access: yes, 2022
Left dislocation constructions involve a constituent that precedes the matrix sentence and is resumed within the sentence by a coreferential resumptive element. Cross-linguistically, left dislocation constructions exhibit considerable syntactic variation,

Concurrent Palmar Lunate Dislocation and Posterior Elbow Dislocation: A Case Report

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedic Surgery, 2011
We report a rare case of concurrent palmar lunate dislocation of the left wrist combined with a posterior dislocation of the left elbow joint in a 40-year-old man. He sustained both injuries after falling onto his outstretched left hand.

Diagnostics de crise

open access: yesCahiers d’Études Germaniques, 2017
This study deals with the textual functions of left-dislocations in two books by German philosopher and essayist Peter Sloterdijk, Die Verachtung der Massen (2000) and Sphären II (1999).
