Terapêutica de Ressincronização Cardíaca e Efeito Pró-Arrítmico: um Problema que Deve Ser Lembrado [PDF]
The demonstrated benefits of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) in reducing mortality and hospitalizations for heart failure, improving NYHA functional class and inducing reverse remodeling have led to its increasing use in clinical practice ...

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a progressive condition with high morbidity and mortality, largely owing to right ventricular (RV) failure resulting from maladaptive remodeling. Our study provides strong evidence in support of a critical, detrimental role for AXL as a previously unrecognized determinant driving RV fibrotic pathology in PH.

Revascularization in Severe Left Ventricular Dysfunction
The highest-risk patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction are those with ischemic cardiomyopathy and severe left ventricular systolic dysfunction (ejection fraction≤35%). The cornerstone of treatment is guideline-driven medical therapy for all patients and implantable device therapy for appropriately selected patients.

Lipid droplets (LDs) protect the heart against lipotoxicity in cardiac ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury; however, they are insufficient to prevent cardiomyocyte death. Seipin plays a central role in the insufficient formation of LDs, subsequent lipotoxicity, and myocardial injury during cardiac I/R injury.

In Yoo and Mainkar et al., we present a minimally invasive, CM‐selective modRNA delivery system encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles for intravenous (IV) administration. This platform enables selective cardiac translation of therapeutic modRNA but suppresses expression in off‐target tissues, including tumors.

Temporal Transcriptional Regulation of Human Neuronal Differentiation via Forward Programming
Single‐cell profiling of TF‐induced forward programming versus stepwise dual‐SMAD differentiation reveals that divergent trajectories set the pace of neurogenesis. OLIG TFs advance cell‐cycle exit via NOTCH modulation, while NEUROD2 later accelerates maturation. The study elucidates transcriptional mechanisms governing differentiation timing, providing
