Positive Solutions of Fractional Differential Equations with p-Laplacian

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2017
The multiplicity of positive solution for a new class of four-point boundary value problem of fractional differential equations with p-Laplacian operator is investigated. By the use of the Leggett-Williams fixed-point theorem, the multiplicity results of

Existence of Three Positive Solutions for a Class of Boundary Value Problems of Caputo Fractional q-Difference Equation

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2018
A class of boundary value problems of Caputo fractional q-difference equation is introduced. Green’s function and its properties for this problem are deduced.

Strong coupling in molecular systems: a simple predictor employing routine optical measurements. [PDF]

open access: yesNanophotonics
Abstract We provide a simple method that enables readily acquired experimental data to be used to predict whether or not a candidate molecular material may exhibit strong coupling. Specifically, we explore the relationship between the hybrid molecular/photonic (polaritonic) states and the bulk optical response of the molecular material.

Existence and Uniqueness of Solutions for a Third‐Order Three‐Point Boundary Value Problem via Measure of Noncompactness

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
In this paper, we consider a nonlinear third‐order three‐point boundary value problem and give the existence and uniqueness of solutions by constructing Green’s function and using its properties. The methods used here are based on Darbo’s fixed point theorem combined with the technique of measure of noncompactness.

An Analysis on the Positive Solutions for a Fractional Configuration of the Caputo Multiterm Semilinear Differential Equation

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
In this paper, we consider a multiterm semilinear fractional boundary value problem involving Caputo fractional derivatives and investigate the existence of positive solutions by terms of different given conditions. To do this, we first study the properties of Green’s function, and then by defining two lower and upper control functions and using the ...

Iterative Solutions for the Differential Equation with p‐Laplacian on Infinite Interval

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
This paper systematically investigates a class of fourth‐order differential equation with p‐Laplacian on infinite interval in Banach space. By means of the monotone iterative technique, we establish not only the existence of positive solutions but also iterative schemes under the suitable conditions.

Monotone Iterative Schemes for Positive Solutions of a Fractional q‐Difference Equation with Integral Boundary Conditions on the Half‐Line

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
In this paper, we study the boundary value problem of a fractional q‐difference equation with nonlocal integral boundary conditions on the half‐line. Using the properties of the Green function and monotone iterative method, the extremal solutions are obtained. Finally, an example is presented to illustrate our main results.

Existence and Nonexistence of Positive Solutions for High‐Order Fractional Differential Equation Boundary Value Problems at Resonance

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
We investigate positive solution for high‐order fractional differential equations with resonant boundary value conditions. By using the spectral theory and the fixed point index theory, both the nonexistence and existence results of the resonant boundary value problems are given.
