On the Existence of Three Positive Solutions for a Caputo Fractional Difference Equation

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
In this paper, we introduce the application of three fixed point theorem by discussing the existence of three positive solutions for a class of Caputo fractional difference equation boundary value problem. We establish the condition of the existence of three positive solutions for this problem.

Iterative Positive Solutions to a Coupled Hadamard‐Type Fractional Differential System on Infinite Domain with the Multistrip and Multipoint Mixed Boundary Conditions

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
This paper is devoted to the existence of positive solutions for a nonlinear coupled Hadamard fractional differential system, with multistrip and multipoint mixed boundary conditions on an infinite interval. Based on the Arzelá‐Ascoli theorem, we establish an important lemma to prove the complete continuity of operators on the infinite interval.

Multiple Positive Solutions for a System of Caputo Fractional p‐Laplacian Boundary Value Problems

open access: yesComplexity, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
In this work, we are pleased to investigate multiple positive solutions for a system of Caputo fractional p‐Laplacian boundary value problems, and we also provide an example for illustrating our main results.

Attainability to Solve Fractional Differential Inclusion on the Half Line at Resonance

open access: yesComplexity, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
The presented article is deduced about the positive solutions of the fractional differential inclusion at resonance on the half line. The fractional derivative used is in the sense of Riemann–Liouville and the problem is supplemented by unseparated conditions.

Right focal boundary value problems for difference equations [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2010
An application is made of a new Avery et al. fixed point theorem of compression and expansion functional type in the spirit of the original fixed point work of Leggett and Williams, to obtain positive solutions of the second order right focal discrete ...

On a System of Hadamard Fractional Differential Equations with Nonlocal Boundary Conditions on an Infinite Interval

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2023
Our research focuses on investigating the existence of positive solutions for a system of nonlinear Hadamard fractional differential equations. These equations are defined on an infinite interval and involve non-negative nonlinear terms.

On the Nonhomogeneous Fourth-Order p-Laplacian Generalized Sturm-Liouville Nonlocal Boundary Value Problems

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2012
We study the nonlinear nonhomogeneous n-point generalized Sturm-Liouville fourth-order p-Laplacian boundary value problem by using Leray-Schauder nonlinear alternative and Leggett-Williams fixed-point theorem.

Positive Solutions for a Mixed-Order Three-Point Boundary Value Problem for p-Laplacian

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
The author investigates the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for boundary value problem of fractional differential equation with p-Laplacian operator. The main tool is fixed point index theory and Leggett-Williams fixed point theorem.

Existence of Positive Solutions to Boundary Value Problems with Mixed Riemann–Liouville and Quantum Fractional Derivatives

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2023
In this paper, by using the Leggett–Williams fixed-point theorem, we study the existence of positive solutions to fractional differential equations with mixed Riemann–Liouville and quantum fractional derivatives.
