When tradition burns: Misinterpreting prescribed fire across the science–society gap in Iberia
Ecological Solutions and Evidence, Volume 7, Issue 3, July–September 2026.Prescribed fire is a scientifically grounded management tool whose benefits depend on specific ecological and operational conditions. This Perspective examines how these benefits may be reinterpreted beyond their original context and proposes a framework to improve the translation of ecological knowledge into environmental decision‐making.
