A case of leiomyoma arising from the left false cord is reported. In the larynx the lesion is very rare and the literature reports only 14 cases. Among those reported we were unable to find any case reported from India.

A case of leiomyoma arising from the subglottic area of a child is reported. This neoplasm is extremely rare in the larynx as only 14 cases have been described in the literature so far. Only 4 of these could be defined as subglottic. The clinical and histopathological features of laryngeal leiomyomas are briefly discussed.

Leiomyoma of the breast parenchyma proper is a rare neoplasm. This tumor occurs predominantly in late middle-aged women and can be clinically difficult to discern from carcinoma. Mammographically, the tumor lacks typical features of carcinoma, but this possibility cannot be absolutely excluded.
