Studies in Lejeuneaceae. I. The Typification of Lejeunea
The Bryologist, 1960MacQuarrie (1958) described effects of gibberellic acid on protonematal growth. Marked stimulation in the initiation and growth of buds and young leafy plants has resulted from x-ray treatment in other phases of the present investigations in mosses. No use of irradiation has been made as a culture practice.
