The reappraisal of Capillolejeunea S.W.Arnell (Marchantiophyta, Lejeuneaceae)

Capillolejeunea (Lejeuneaceae), known only from the East African Islands, is resurrected. It is characterized by and easily separated from Drepanolejeunea by the unbroken basal vitta of 3−5(−9) ocelli in leaf lobes, absence of scattered ocelli in leaf lobes, outer lateral margin of the upright underleaf lobes with a tooth, and single, unicellular tooth
