Observer‐Based Adaptive Event‐Triggered Tracking Control for Fuzzy TS Systems With Premise Mismatch
This paper presents an adaptive logistic event‐triggered observer‐based tracking controller for Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy systems under constrained inputs and network delays. Leveraging a hybrid LMI and Secretary Bird Optimization approach, this strategy significantly minimizes communication overhead and computational burden while ensuring optimal reference ...

dynoGP: Deep Gaussian Processes for Dynamic System Identification
This work introduces a novel class of deep models for system identification, dynamical deep Gaussian processes, which combine the strengths of data‐driven methods, such as those based on neural network architectures, with the ability to output a probability distribution for uncertainty representation.

Defining the entry unit in a dictionary of non-standard professional vocabulary
Defining the entry unit in a dictionary of non-standard professional vocabulary Although scholars holding the traditional view on terminology regard non-standard professional vocabulary as an undesirable deviation from the norm, such lexis plays a very

Building machine‐readable vocabularies for materials science is slow, expert‐driven work. This study benchmarks 13 large language models on two of its first steps: finding candidate terms in engineering articles and deciding where they belong in a class hierarchy.

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.

StackingNet: Collective Inference Across Independent AI Foundation Models
ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence (AI) built on large foundation models has transformed language understanding, computer vision, and reasoning, yet these systems remain isolated and cannot readily share their capabilities. Coordinating the complementary strengths of independently developed, black‐box foundation models is essential for trustworthy ...

The selecting lemma of Liao selects, under certain conditions of a non-hyperbolic setting, a special kind of orbits of finite length, called quasi-hyperbolic strings, which can be shadowed by true orbits. In this article we give an exposition on this lemma, and illustrate some recent applications.

A dual frequency-selective bounded real lemma and its applications to IIR filter design [PDF]
Given a transfer function H(s) of order n, the celebrated bounded real lemma characterises the untractable semi-infinite programming (SIP) condition |H(jomega)|2 gesgamma 2forallomegaisinR of function bounded realness (BR) by a tractable semi-definite programming (SDP).
