Objective vs subjective vault measurement after myopic implantable collamer lens implantation [PDF]
PURPOSE: To evaluate the relationship between subjective measurements of vault and objective values measured with Visante optical coherence tomography (OCT) in eyes receiving an implantable contact lens (ICL) for myopia correction. DESIGN: Observational

Congenital ectopia lentis : diagnosis and treatment [PDF]
Congenital ectopia lentis (EL) is an ocular condition, which typically causes a high grade of refractive errors, mainly myopia and astigmatism. These might be difficult to compensate for, especially in children, who might develop ametropic amblyopia ...

N-acetylhistidine, a novel osmolyte in the lens of Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar L.) [PDF]
Volume homeostasis is essential for the preservation of lens transparency and this is of particular significance to anadromous fish species where migration from freshwater to seawater presents severe osmotic challenges. In Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar L.)

In vivo Brillouin optical microscopy of the human eye [PDF]
We report the first Brillouin measurement of the human eye in vivo. We constructed a Brillouin optical scanner safe for human use by employing continuous-wave laser light at 780 nm at a low power of 0.7 mW.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

V. On the connexion between the suspensory ligament of the crystalline lens and the lens capsule [PDF]
I have not been able to get a too precise statement as to the nature of this connexion, but Quain (9th ed.) says the suspensory ligament is of "firmly attached' to the capsule; in another place Quain says it joins it. Speaking of “suspensory fibres of the lens,” Quain says that some of these “pass into continuity with the posterior capsule”.
