The usage of LEO Satellite for multi mission application such as voice, data transmission, E-mail and remote sensing has been increasing very rapidly in recent years. This is because of its low production cost, low lunching cost and low power transmission due its low orbit.

IEEE Potentials, 2004
This paper discusses the role played by wireless network infrastructure in mobile commerce applications. The user's perception of service quality depends on the available resources and capabilities of the network. The new generation of low earth orbit (LEO) mobile satellite networks, deployed at altitudes ranging from 500 km to 2000 km, are well suited

Interbeam Handover in LEO Satellite Systems
International Journal of Satellite Communications, 1998This paper evaluates the performance of interbeam handover in LEO Satellite systems. The evaluation is based on an analytical model that is specific for interbeam handover. There are three performance parameters concerned: handover probability, forced termination probability, and time availability.

Spatial Resource Management in LEO Satellite
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2020Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communication systems are known to have complicated spatial resource management. The problem occurs because of the impossibility to realize fully digital beamforming since its hardware implementation consumes too much power of the on-board battery.

Control of LEO satellite clusters
Proceedings of the 39th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (Cat. No.00CH37187), 2002We discuss the application of the perceptive control theory to the control of satellites flying in formation. We present the algorithms used and discuss some of their properties.

Wireless Communication in LEO Satellite Formations
2008 NASA/ESA Conference on Adaptive Hardware and Systems, 2008In this paper we investigate key IEEE 802.11 optimization techniques with the aim to adapt the commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS) wireless standard for inter-satellite communication in autonomous distributed spacecraft formations. Optimisation approaches such as the tuning of the IEEE 802.11 physical layer parameters and enhancing the data link layer for ...

Estimation of Doppler Curve for LEO Satellites
Wireless Personal Communications, 2019Doppler frequency shift which is defined as “the observed changes in frequency of transmitted waves when relative motion exists between the source of waves and an observer”, has wide applications in science, technology and different industries including communications, medicine, aerospace, electronics and etc.

Dynamic Resource Allocation in LEO Satellite
2019 15th International Wireless Communications & Mobile Computing Conference (IWCMC), 2019In this paper we propose a new low power resource management for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communication system with a hybrid multi-beamforming. LEO satellite communication systems are known to have a serious mobility management problem, resulting in inefficient radio resources management and extra power consumption.
