Arboreal or terrestrial: Oviposition site of Zhangixalus frogs affects the thermal function of foam nests [PDF]

open access: yesEcol Evol
Some foam nesting anuran has oviposition site plasticity. We revealed that arboreal or terrestrial site use affects the thermal function of the foam nests in Zhangixalus arboreus. Such a site depending on thermal function may relate to the evolution of oviposition site use.
