Posttraumatic intradiploic leptomeningeal cyst in an adult: case report
We report the case of an adult with a posttraumatic intradiploic leptomeningeal cyst that caused a circumscribed osteolytic skull lesion. Local pain, the only symptom of the lesion, regressed after surgery.

Histone-mutant glioma presenting as diffuse leptomeningeal disease
Glioblastoma multiforme is the most common malignant primary brain tumor in adults. Histone H3 mutations have been identified in pediatric and adult gliomas, with H3K27M mutations typically associated with a posterior fossa midline tumor location and ...

Ossified retroperitoneal malignant Schwannoma with spinal leptomeningeal metastases.
A malignant retroperitoneal schwannoma in a patient without von Recklinghausen's disease is reported. Ossification in the tumour, shown on CT and MRI in this previously untreated patient is exceptional.

Molecular heterogeneity and prognostic biomarkers in primary meningeal melanocytic tumors
Integrated molecular profiling reveals biological heterogeneity among primary meningeal melanocytic tumors, identifying intermediate‐grade PMMT subgroups with distinct recurrence risk. Molecular alterations including SF3B1 mutations and chromosome 8q gains support prognostic stratification, while PRKAR1A alterations and chromosome 17/21q losses aid ...

A Rare Presentation of Adult Primary Leptomeningeal Medulloblastoma: Case Report
Medulloblastomas are tumors of the posterior fossa that have a propensity to develop leptomeningeal metastases along the spinal cord, commonly known as “drop metastases.” Medulloblastoma accounts for approximately 1%–2% of all adult brain tumors, and ...

Resource level‐based recommendations on practical diagnostic strategies for medulloblastomas and other CNS embryonal tumors are provided. Abstract WHO CNS5 mandates integrated histo‐molecular classification of medulloblastomas (MBs) and other CNS embryonal tumors. However, advanced molecular diagnostics remain inaccessible in many low‐ and lower‐middle‐

Immunohistochemistry as a tool for identifying PDGFRA amplification in central nervous system tumors
PDGFRA gene amplification is now recognized as a diagnostically and prognostically relevant molecular alteration in central nervous system tumors. Herein, we demonstrated that PDGFRA immunohistochemistry is a highly specific and sensitive biomarker for identifying PDGFRA amplification and should be part of the neuropathologist's routine panel of ...

Primary diffuse leptomeningeal oligodendrogliomatosis: A case report and literature review
Primary leptomeningeal oligodendrogliomatosis (PLO) is a rare low-grade intracranial and spinal canal subarachnoid neoplasm without an obvious primary neoplasm in the brain or spinal cord parenchyma. We present here the serial progression of radiological
