Forage Yield and Relay Intercropping Advantage of Grass pea (Lathyrus sativus L.) and Annual Cereals at Different Cropping Patterns [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Agricultural Science and Sustainable Production, 2020
In order to evaluate the forage yield, crude protein and advantage indices of grass pea-cereal intercropping systems, a field study (2015-2016 and 2016-2017) was conducted as randomized complete block design (RCBD) with 13treatments and three ...

Aprende a gostar de ler, ouvindo ler e lendo [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019

Evaluation of the effect of sorghum-legume intercropping and its residual effect on yield of sorghum in yeki woreda, sheka zone, Ethiopia

open access: yesInternational Journal of Agricultural Research, Innovation and Technology, 2019
The imbalance between the crop production and population growth is currently the major issue in southern Ethiopia. To feed the growing population, increasing the production of food through growing more crop types in the same field as an intercropping is ...

Indirect DNA Readout by an H-NS Related Protein: Structure of the DNA Complex of the C-Terminal Domain of Ler

open access: yes, 2011
Ler, a member of the H-NS protein family, is the master regulator of the LEE pathogenicity island in virulent Escherichia coli strains. Here, we determined the structure of a complex between the DNA-binding domain of Ler (CT-Ler) and a 15-mer DNA duplex.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.
