Angewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 29, 13 July 2026.This work explores the interactions between the oxazine dye ATTO655 and two macrocyclic hosts using optical (single‑molecule) spectroscopy. Although ATTO655 forms a classical inclusion complex with cucurbit[8]uril (CB8), its interaction with p‑sulfonatocalix[4]arene (sCX4) leads to the formation of dim exclusion complexes.

On the Apparent Solubility of Leuco Compounds of Sulfur Dyes
The Journal of the Society of Chemical Industry, Japan, 1960 4種類の硫化染料,Blue BB,Indigo R, Dark Brown DおよびOrange OAのリウコ化合物の見掛け溶解度を測定した。その値は還元浴の組成によって変化する。過剰の硫化ナトリウムの量が増すと,はじめのうちは,リウコ化合物の見掛け溶解度は増大するが,非常に多量(2.38N)の硫化ナトリウムを用いた場合には,かえって見掛け溶解度は減少する。また,過剰の硫化ナトリウムの一部を硫酸ナトリウムで置きかえると,硫酸ナトリウムが50%までは見掛け溶解度はやや増大するが,74%にいたると見掛け溶解度は減少し,特に染料使用量の大きい時には著しく減少する。またリウコ化合物の見掛け溶解度は,カセイソーダの添加によりやや減少する。これらの結果は,過飽和状態に溶解 ...

Analysis of the Degradation of Thermochromic Sensors in Electrical Devices
Journal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 9, March 5, 2026.This study examines the degradation of microencapsulated leuco thermochromic pigments, both pure and embedded in epoxy, under thermal, cyclic, and QUV aging. UV radiation is the main factor causing irreversible loss of thermochromism due to microcapsule damage and solvent loss, while thermal exposure produces minor effects.
