Synthesis and properties of Co-doped titanate nanotubes and their optical sensitization with methylene blue [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Here we report on a novel chemical route to synthesize homogenous cobalt doped titanate nanotubes (CoTNT), using an amorphous Co-doped precursor. The influence of the synthesis temperature, autoclave dwell time and metal doping on the structural and ...

Theoretical Calculation and Experimental Verification Demonstrated the Impossibility of Finding Haptens Identifying Triphenylmethane Dyes and Their Leuco Metabolites Simultaneously

open access: yesMolecules, 2018
Detection of triphenylmethane dyes (TDs), especially the widely used malachite green (MG) and crystal violet (CV), plays an important role in safety control of aquatic products. There are two chromatic forms of TDs: oxidized or reduced. Usually, only one

On the Apparent Solubility of Leuco Compounds of Sulfur Dyes

open access: yesThe Journal of the Society of Chemical Industry, Japan, 1960

A rapid method of assessing the photocatalytic activity of thin TiO2 films using an ink based on the redox dye 2,6-dichloroindophenol [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
An indicator ink based on the redox dye 2,6-dichloroindophenol ( DCIP) is described, which allows the rapid assessment of the activity of thin, commercial photocatalytic films, such as Activ.

Plasma Membrane‐Promoted Aggregation of BODIPY Dimers Enables Live‐Cell Super‐Resolution Imaging

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 5, May 2026.
BODIPY dimers are introduced as membrane probes exhibiting dynamic, environment‐dependent intermolecular interactions within lipid bilayers. Transient aggregation between molecules drives switching between open, H‐aggregated, and J‐aggregated states, enabling efficient blinking. This behavior allows dual‐color imaging, with green emission outlining the

The Potential Use of Organically Grown Dye Plants in the Organic Textile Industry: Experiences and Results on Cultivation and Yields of Dyers Chamomile (Anthemis tinctoria L.), Dyers Knotweed (Polygonum tinctorium Ait.) and Weld (Reseda luteola L.) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The organic cultivation of dye plants for the certified natural textiles industry is an emerging and promising sector of organic farming. In 1999 a field trial was done with different provenances of Dyer’s Chamomile (Anthemis tinctoria L.), Dyer’s ...

Can Invasive Suckermouth Catfish, Hypostomus Plecostomus, Be Used as Fishmeal? A Potential Solution to Eradicate it from the Buriganga River, Bangladesh

open access: yesAquaculture, Fish and Fisheries, Volume 6, Issue 2, April 2026.
Can invasive suckermouth catfish, Hypostomus plecostomus, be used as fishmeal? A potential solution to eradicate it from the Buriganga River, Bangladesh ABSTRACT The sustainable replacement of conventional fish meal (CFM) remains a critical challenge for aquaculture, given its rising cost and limited supply.
