In Beninese traditional medicine, Khaya senegalensis, Ocimum americanum, and Cassytha filiformis are commonly used to treat urinary tract infections (UTIs). This study aimed to evaluate their phytochemical composition, antimicrobial and anti‐biofilm activities, analgesic and diuretic effects, and acute toxicity.

Photo-imaging system containing leuco dyes and haloganated polymers.

Transparent halopolymer film such as poly(vinyl chloride) containing leuco dye formed color image by UV irradiation. Combinations of six kinds of polymers and five kinds of leuco dyes were investigated as photo coloring systems. A stable coloration of the leuco dye can be obtained if halopolymer is used as a matrix film.
