[Acute basophilic leukemia with an intense erythroblastic reaction].

Sangre, 1994
A patient is presented who had acute basophilic leukaemia with intense erythroblastic reaction. The patient, a 66 year-old man, complained of general malaise, increased abdominal perimeter and melena. Leucocytosis, as well as severe anaemia and thrombocytopenia, were found in his peripheral blood.

Erythroblastic and/or megakaryocytic dysplasia in de novo acute myeloid leukemias M0–M5 show relation to myelodysplastic syndromes and delimit two main categories

Leukemia Research, 2000
Erythroblastic and/or megakaryocytic dysplasia (EMD) was evaluated in diagnostic bone marrow smears of 43 consecutively treated patients under 65 years with de novo acute myeloid leukemia (AML) M0-M5 according to FAB criteria. The evaluation was possible in 39 (91%) patients, i.e.

A case of 8p11 syndrome associated with acute erythroblastic leukemia and T-lymphoblastic lymphoma treated with ponatinib combination and chemotherapy

Acute erythroblastic leukemia. Cytological, cytogenetic and phenotypic studies in one case.

Acta haematologica, 1989
We report the clinical, cytological, immunophenotypic, and cytogenetic findings in one patient with acute erythroblastic leukemia. Blast cells were identified by their reactivity with the early erythroid antibodies FA6-152 and carbonic anhydrase I. The leukemic blasts had no specific differentiating features identifying them as erythroblasts even at an

The effects of azacitidine on the response and prognosis of myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia involving a bone marrow erythroblast frequency of >50%

Leukemia Research, 2017
We reviewed the cases of 68 consecutive patients who were diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS, n=61) or acute erythroleukemia (AEL, n=7) according to the World Health Organization (WHO) 2008 criteria and had previously been treated with azacitidine, a hypomethylating agent. Fifteen MDS patients had bone marrow erythroblast frequencies of ≥50%,

Acute nonlymphocytic leukemias following chemotherapy. Ultrastructural study of erythroblastic cell line and discussion of nuclear anomalies.

Blood cells, 1982
In 18 cases of drug-induced acute leukemia, electron microscopy brought out a number of anomalies found in all hematopoietic cell lines. They are described here for the erythroblastic line. Some of these anomalies occur in the cytoplasm (like siderosomes, iron-containing mitochondria, glycogen spots, various dense inclusions, and nuclear-cytoplasmic ...

[Acute erythroblastic leukemia presenting as FAB M6 with surface marker positive for megakaryocytic and erythroid: report of a case].

[Rinsho ketsueki] The Japanese journal of clinical hematology, 1994
A fifty five-year-old male presenting as FAB M6 had blasts that were positive both for erythroblastic and megakaryocytic surface makers, i.e., carbonic anhydrase I, CD36 and CD41. HLA-DR and cD71 were also positive. In a very small portion, CD33 and glycophorin A were also positive.

Kinetic behavior of 'pathological' myeloblasts and 'normal' erythroblasts in acute granulocytic leukemia. Analysis of in vitro studies in 20 patients.

Oncology, 1983
Kinetic studies of leukemic blast cells (LBC) and erythroblasts were carried out in 20 cases of acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML), and the results were compared with those observed in dividing granulocytic precursors (DGP) and erythroblasts in a control group of 16 normal subjects.

First case of bacteremia due to chromosome-encoded CfxA3-beta-lactamase-producing Capnocytophaga sputigena in a pediatric patient with acute erythroblastic leukemia.

European journal of medical research, 2008
Bacteremia due to Capnocytophaga sputigena occurred in a 4-year and 9-month-old Japanese girl patient with acute erythroblastic leukemia in Shinshu University Hospital, Japan. On her admission to the hospital, she had a temperature of 38.2 degrees C with canker sore.
