Leukemia in Older Adults: Global, National, and Regional Disease Burden Patterns During 1990–2019 and Forecasted Trends to 2030

After analyzing the burden of leukemia in the elderly aged 60–89 years from 1990 to 2019 using the Global Burden of Disease database, we found that although the burden of chronic myeloid leukemia has decreased over the past 30 years, the burden of other types of leukemia has continued to increase to varying degrees.

An elderly male patient with extramammary Paget disease of the scrotum and multiple metastases was treated with fractionated FLASH‐RT (40 Gy in 5 fractions) in the scrotal lesion. Abstract Objective Ultrahigh‐dose‐rate radiotherapy (FLASH‐RT) has been shown to reduce radiation‐induced normal tissue injury in preclinical studies.

FB23‐2 and Cisplatin Synergize to Inhibit Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma by Targeting the XPF/ERCC1 Complex

Compound Library Screening Identified Cladribine as a Novel Radiosensitizer for Prostate Cancer

The combination of cladribine and irradiation significantly suppressed the growth of DU145‐derived tumors compared with the DMSO plus irradiation group in the mouse model. In addition, it also elevated the percentage of γH2AX‐positive cells after irradiation.
