DTX3L Inhibits the EMT, Metastasis, and Stem‐Like Features of Gastric Cancer Through Promoting GSK‐3β Dependent SNAI1 Decay

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This research identifies DTX3L as a critical tumor suppressor that inhibits epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT), invasion and metastasis in gastric cancer. By functioning as an E3 ubiquitin ligase, DTX3L targets the master EMT regulator SNAI1 for GSK‐3β‐dependent proteasomal degradation.

A multicenter cross-sectional study on factors associated with caregiving appraisal in pediatric acute leukemia caregivers

open access: yesPLOS One
Introduction Caring for pediatric acute leukemia (PAL) patients poses significant psychological challenges for family caregivers, impacting their well-being and caregiving capacity. This multicenter study aimed to assess caregivers’ perception of their caregiving role using the revised Caregiving Appraisal Scale (rCAS) and identify factors associated ...

Endogenous Engineering Reprograms Extracellular Vesicles for Enhanced Therapeutic Function

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review explains how Extracellular vesicles‐producing cells can be endogenously engineered to load therapeutic proteins and nucleic acids. We summarize physiological and genetic strategies that harness native sorting pathways for selective cargo loading.

Global Disparities in the Characteristics and Outcomes of Leukemia Clinical Trials: A Cross-Sectional Study of the ClinicalTrials.gov Database

open access: yesJCO Global Oncology
PURPOSE Most clinical trials are conducted exclusively in high-income countries (HICs), with only a small fraction involving centers from low-middle income countries (LMICs). However, studies evaluating the global distribution of clinical trials in leukemia are limited.

Spontaneous Non‐Catalyzed Molecular Reactions and Interactions in the Human Body: Biomedical Implications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The human body functions as a natural reactor for a vast network of chemical and biological reactions and physical interactions among small molecules, proteins, cells, and numerous other components. These reactions/interactions are essential for maintaining normal physiological functions.

Tumor‐Induced Splenic Remodeling: Mechanisms of Systemic Immunosuppression and Emerging Therapeutic Opportunities

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Despite the transformative impact of cancer immunotherapies such as immune checkpoint blockade, durable clinical responses remain limited. Increasing evidence indicates that antitumor immunity is governed not only by the tumor microenvironment, but also by systemic immune regulation mediated by peripheral immune organs. Among these, the spleen

Menin inhibitor DS-1594b drives differentiation and induces synergistic lethality in combination with venetoclax in acute myeloid leukemia cells with rearranged mixed-lineage leukemia and mutated nucleophosmin-1

open access: yesHaematologica
Mixed-lineage leukemia (MLL) rearrangements and Nucleophosmin-1 (NPM1) mutations are associated with acute leukemias whose pathogenesis is critically influenced by protein-protein interactions between menin and MLL.
