ABSTRACT Cutaneous extramedullary hematopoiesis (CEH) is a rare manifestation of extramedullary hematopoiesis (EMH), a process typically associated with fetal development or myeloproliferative neoplasms. EMH most commonly involves the spleen, liver, and lymph nodes, with CEH being exceedingly rare in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML).

Summary Infected interdigital intertrigo is an exudative, macerating, mixed infection of the toe webs in which gram‐negative bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacterales) seem prevalent, but in which gram‐positive pathogens (Staphylococcus [S.] aureus, streptococci, enterococci) and fungi (dermatophytes, yeasts) also occur.

In this case report, a paraneoplastic syndrome caused by testicular neoplasia in a ten-year-old cryptorchid dog is described. Feminization and pancytopenia were observed, resulting from the testicular neoplastic production of estrogens.

Summary Fecaliths are a recognised cause of non‐strangulating colon obstruction in horses. Although they more commonly obstruct the small colon, they can also lodge in the pelvic flexure, requiring enterotomy for removal. Stricture at the enterotomy site is an uncommon but surgically significant complication.
