ABSTRACT We report on a 31‐year‐old male patient diagnosed with active moderate‐to‐severe ulcerative colitis and a history of splenectomy. He was hospitalized due to confluent pustular oral lesions and multiple skin abscesses. After ruling out an infection, we diagnosed pyostomatitis vegetans associated with aseptic abscess syndrome.

This study presents a novel multimodal MRI approach to measure cerebral blood flow (CBF) and oxygen metabolism (CMRO2) in preterm infants. Exploratory findings suggest noninvasive respiratory support is associated with higher CBF and CMRO2, highlighting its potential impact on neonatal brain oxygenation and development.
