Scanning Electron Microscopy of Congenital Corneal Leukomas (Peters' Anomaly)
American Journal of Ophthalmology, 1979Specimens of three corneas in two patients with Peter's anomaly were obtained at the time of penetrating keratoplasty and studied by scanning and transmission electron microscopy. In one patient, the anomaly was monocular, and the endothelial surface showed a central defect in Descemet's layer with isolated rounded defects in the midperiphery.

[The surgical characteristics of patients with postburn vascularized leukomas].
Oftalmologicheskii zhurnal, 1991In order to avoid neovascularization of corneal grafts in keratoplasty, 3 variants of keratoplasty are proposed for surgical treatment of after-burn vascularized leukomas of category III and IV. The variants were used for treatment of 25 patients with sequelae after chemical and thermic eye burns of degree II and III.
