NATURAL ŒSTROGENS AND ANTITHROMBIN-III LEVELS

The Lancet, 1975
The results are presented of a study of serum-antithrombin-3 levels in 20 women taking oral contraceptives vs. 19 controls 20 menopausal women taking conjugated equine estrogen (Premarin) vs. 20 menopausal controls and 29 women in the third trimester of pregnancy. Antithrombin-3 levels were significantly lowered in the pregnant women and in the women

Core Levels of III‐V Semiconductors

physica status solidi (b), 1972
AbstractThe absorption and reflection spectra of GaP, GaAs, GaSb, InP, InAs, and InSb in the region from 15 to 40 eV are presented and compared with those obtained from characteristic electron energy losses. From these data, information about the density of conduction states, the matrix elements for transitions from the outermost core levels to the ...

Autoionizing levels in Be III

Journal of Physics B: Atomic and Molecular Physics, 1969
Radiative transitions from autoionizing levels of Be III were observed in the far ultra-violet spectrum produced by a vacuum spark. Classification of these transitions and determination of autoionizing level energies are given. Dependence of the intensity of these transitions on discharge parameters and the importance of the dielectronic recombination ...

Level III Automation System Technology

1988
A Level III Automation or EMC system is also referred to in this book as an engineering control center. This is because these systems perform a central engineering function, similar to the concept of a Level II system, along with automatic control, energy monitoring, maintenance scheduling, information management, life safety and other functions which ...

Antithrombin III levels in preeclampsia.

Israel journal of medical sciences, 1990
Antithrombin III (AT-III) activity was measured and compared in 29 patients with preeclampsia and 31 women with normal pregnancies. AT-III levels were 83 +/- 25% in preeclamptic patients with greater than 5 g/l proteinuria compared with 102 +/- 11% in the controls. Less severe proteinuria was not associated with decreased AT-III levels.

Application III: Board-Level Drop Test

2014
Consumer electronic products, particularly mobile devices such as mobile phones, thermal scanners, tablets and laptop computers, contain BGA packages and assemblies. These devices are susceptible to impact loading from unintentional dropping of the device during operation and handling.

Second Level Review-II

2016
In this chapter, the focus shifts to the project tools. Often, the project tools are operationally treated ‘larger than life’ but from a management perspective, they are seen as ‘operational enhancements’. The mantras touch upon how one needs to balance both the perspectives.

Antithrombin III Level in Nonatherosclerotic Vasculopathy

JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1982
To the Editor.— Regarding a recent BRIEF REPORT, "Intra-arterial Alprostadil for Nonatherosclerotic Vasculopathy" (1981;245:1846), there is no mention of antithrombin III levels. In a patient in this age group with a history of venous thromboembolism, who on angiography has evidence of multiple arterial occlusions, I think it would be important to ...
