Antithrombin III (AT III) and Fibrinogen Levels in Nephrotic Syndrome in Children

Pathophysiology of Haemostasis and Thrombosis, 1985
Plasma antithrombin III (AT III) and fibrinogen were measured in 25 Saudi children with nephrotic syndrome during both relapse and remission. During relapse the mean AT III level was 46.6% (range 7–84%) and mean fibrinogen was 992 mg/dl (range 413–1,433), while during remission, AT III levels increased remarkably to a mean value of 120.6% (range 81–160)

Evidence-based medicine III: level of evidence

Journal of Pediatric Urology, 2019
The present article is the third installment in a five-part series related to evidence-based medicine (EBM) provided by the European Society for Paediatric Urology Research Committee. It will present the different levels of evidence (i.e. systematic review, randomized controlled trial, cohort study) available to clinicians and researchers and describe ...

Level III EMCS Hardware

1988
As noted in Chapter 7, Level III systems are divided into “hardware types” based upon the equipment in use: microprocessor- and minicomputer-based systems. In Chapter 8, these hardware types will be distinguished from one another under several headings. These include: Computer Technology Peripheral Devices Field Equipment Software

A theater level simulation with COMO-III

Computers & Operations Research, 1976
Abstract A computerized modeling system is described which presents the analysis of a large number of interacting units operating at various levels of managerial control. The COMO-III system employs a “tool kit” approach to modelling by providing great flexibility in fitting the various parts of the model together.

III—Constant-level Ballooning

Journal of Navigation, 1957
For a number of purposes it is convenient to have a platform floating at a constant level high up in the atmosphere. This can be contrived by the use of a special arrangement of balloons for heights up to about 100,000 ft. There are at least three ways in which this can be achieved.

NATURAL ŒSTROGENS AND ANTITHROMBIN-III LEVELS

The Lancet, 1975
The results are presented of a study of serum-antithrombin-3 levels in 20 women taking oral contraceptives vs. 19 controls 20 menopausal women taking conjugated equine estrogen (Premarin) vs. 20 menopausal controls and 29 women in the third trimester of pregnancy. Antithrombin-3 levels were significantly lowered in the pregnant women and in the women

Bismuth(III) levels in the North Atlantic

Marine Chemistry, 1983
Abstract Nineteen North Atlantic samples have been analyzed for bismuth(III) by means of magnesium hydroxide co-precipitation and potentiometric stripping analysis. The average bismuth(III) concentration was found to be 12 pM (2.6 ng l −1 ) with a standard deviation of 9 pM.

Level III Automation System Technology [PDF]

open access: possible, 1988
A Level III Automation or EMC system is also referred to in this book as an engineering control center. This is because these systems perform a central engineering function, similar to the concept of a Level II system, along with automatic control, energy monitoring, maintenance scheduling, information management, life safety and other functions which ...
