ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Anti MFuzzy Subgroup and its Lower Level MSubgroups
In this paper, we introduce the concept of an anti M-fuzzy subgroup of an M-group and lower level subset of an anti M- fuzzy subgroup and discussed some of its properties.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

We study Veech groups of covering surfaces of primitive translation surfaces. Therefore we define congruence subgroups in Veech groups of primitive translation surfaces using their action on the homology with entries in $\mathbb{Z}/a\mathbb{Z}$.

A non-solvable extension of $\Q$ unramified outside 7
We consider a mod 7 Galois representation attached to a genus 2 Siegel cuspforms of level 1 and weight 28 and using some of its Fourier coefficients and eigenvalues computed by N.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

A household-based Human Development Index [PDF]
One of the most serious weaknesses of the human development index (HDI) is that it considers only average achievements and does not take into account the distribution of human development within a country or by population subgroups. All previous attempts

Toroidal Orbifold Models with a Wess-Zumino Term
Closed bosonic string theory on toroidal orbifolds is studied in a Lagrangian path integral formulation. It is shown that a level one twisted WZW action whose field value is restricted to Cartan subgroups of simply-laced Lie groups on a Riemann surface ...
