We describe a 30‐year‐old woman who had meningitis retention syndrome (MRS) with mild encephalitis/encephalopathy with a reversible splenial lesion (MERS), which occurred with fever, urinary retention, and weakness in both legs. A case of MRS with MERS is rare among adults, and its clinical course and treatment planning remain unknown.
