Framing the unknowable: The role of language and frame multiplicity in early‐stage startup pitches
Abstract Research Summary Early‐stage startup pitches must make largely unknowable futures plausible. As such, they bear a rhetorical burden. This study theorizes how multiple frames jointly shape this burden and, consequently, affect investor evaluations. Specifically, it considers how future growth frames interact with concreteness and novelty frames.

Abstract Research Summary Though scholars employ abduction, there is no agreed‐upon structure to reporting their findings. Moreover, the traditional hypo‐deductive reasoning structure does not align with the epistemology of abduction. We propose an abductive testimonial structure, termed PEEBI, which consists of five sections in which the authors take ...

The effect of a lag on Syntactic Priming and the Lexical Boost in children
An experiment was carried out using a ‘snap-like’ game to determine the effect a lag has on syntactic priming and the lexical boost. The experiment was concerned with the syntactic priming effects of children using adults as the control group. Both verb and lag were manipulated within the experiment, with all participants seeing all conditions.

ABSTRACT Modern engineering faces a ‘complexity crisis’ characterized by interlinked, multidisciplinary ‘wicked problems’, particularly within the defence and aerospace sectors. Although systems thinking is recognized as a critical competency for navigating this environment, empirical quantitative frameworks for its measurement remain limited.

Formation of Distance‐Based Orientation: Political Identity through Relational Positioning in Israel
Distance‐based orientation describes how pejorative labels may serve as anchor points for political identity. Existing research on political labeling has largely emphasized stigmatization, overlooking how labels may acquire durability and orienting capacity without losing pejorative force. Drawing on publicly circulating discourse, we trace positioning
