1992The complex high Reynolds number flows over modern swept wings can support at least three types of hydrodynamic instability; namely Gortler, Crossflow, and Tollmien-Schlichting instability mechanisms which can all cause transition to turbulence in many flows of practical importance.

Comparison of three different metallization concepts for LFC cells
2010Laser fired contacts (LFC) are a well known technique to apply the rear side electrode on dielectrically passivated solar cells. Thereby, the aluminum on top of the passivation is locally heated by means of single laser pulses and subsequently alloyed into the silicon.
