The present work deals with the reduction of a two area non-reheat turbine's 7/sup th/ order model into lower order. The large order model may not be possible to tune and control on-line on a real time basis. It is, therefore, necessary to reduce the model of the 7/sup th/ order system into a lower dimensional model, which can be handled and tuned ...

Real Life Permissive LFC Model Description
2018 IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies Conference Europe (ISGT-Europe), 2018This paper describes a permissive load frequency control (LFC) real life model for long-term time domain simulations. The model represents a supplementary control system to governor control systems based on area control error (ACE) calculation. Each forth second, ACE will be checked.

Design Philosophy of Long Range LFC Transports with Advanced Supercritical LFC Airfoils
1992With the interest in long range air transportation, the question arises concerning the design philosophy of long range LFC transports, which can reach any point on earth at high subsonic speeds with relatively large payloads without refuelling. Figure 1 shows as an example a 180,000 kg take-off gross weight LFC transport airplane with 50,000 kg payload

LFC on Screen Printed Aluminium Rear Side Metallization
2009In this paper we report about first results regarding laser fired contacts (LFC) on an optimized screen printed aluminum rear side layer and compare it with our “standard” LFC procedure on evaporated aluminum layers. First of all, the influence of the laser pulse energy, pulse duration and amount of pulses on the resistance of one contact is evaluated.

Delay-Dependent Stability Analysis of Multi-Area LFC-EVs System
IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, 2023IEEEIn this study, the delay-dependent stability of a multi-area Load Frequency Control (LFC) system with Electric Vehicle (EV) aggregators is investigated with the help of the Advanced Clustering with Frequency Sweeping (ACFS) method for incommensurate time delays.

Single and two area LFC using RBF
2015 International Conference on Recent Developments in Control, Automation and Power Engineering (RDCAPE), 2015The control of operating frequency is of utmost importance in the power system operation and control from stability point of view. Conventionally load frequency control is done by employing PI controllers. Immediate control of system frequency oscillation is very vital to avoid hazardous conditions.

Countable Closed LFC-Groups with p-Torsion
Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1993In the development of researches due to F. Hoag and the author existentially closed groups in the class \(LFC_ p\) of all locally \(FC\)- groups with \(p\)-primary torsion subgroups are studied. These groups are closed in \(LFC_ p\) and there are \(2^{\aleph_ 0}\) such countable groups.

Decentralized ADRC for LFC in Deregulated Environments
International Journal of Engineering Practical Research, 2015Active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) method is investigated in this paper to design decentralized load frequency controllers (LFC) for deregulated multi‐area power systems. ADRC can treat the connections among control areas and the effects of possible contracts as new disturbance signals, and uses an extended state observer (ESO) to estimate and

Mass flow requirements for LFC wing design
Aircraft Systems and Technology Meeting, 1977The problem of determining optimum suction mass flow requirements for LFC wings is addressed. Some previous methods for predicting the extent of laminar flow over swept wings with suction are briefly reviewed. These range from the purely empirical to those utilizing tabulated linear stability computations. The present method is described.

Boundary Conditions for the Industrial Production of LFC Cells
2006 IEEE 4th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conference, 2006The `Laser-Fired Contact' (LFC) process scheme developed at Fraunhofer ISE is a fast, easy applicable and industrially feasible way of introducing the `Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell' (PERC) structure into solar cell production. Because the standard industrial production scheme needs to be adapted to the LFC process several further aspects have to be
