Al3+/Ta5+ co‐doping refines the primary particles of LiNiO2, reduces Li/Ni antisite disorder, and expands the c‐axis lattice parameter, thereby enabling faster and more homogeneous Li+ transport. Such rapid and homogeneous Li+ transport suppresses high‐voltage phase transitions and microcrack formation, ultimately improving the rate capability and long‐

Nitride MXenes remain constrained by a persistent gap between computational prediction and experimental realization. This Review identifies the thermodynamic, kinetic, and chemical barriers limiting their synthesis, critically evaluates emerging fabrication routes, and proposes a multidimensional computational‐experimental framework to accelerate the ...

Light irradiation activates the Fe2O3‐BiVO4 heterostructure, enabling efficient solar‐electrochemical coupling in zinc‐air batteries. The built‐in electric field drives directional charge separation, guiding photoelectrons toward oxygen reduction sites and accumulating holes for oxygen evolution, thereby reducing polarization and enhancing discharge ...

Out‐of‐Plane Strain‐Decoupled Architecture for High‐Fill‐Factor Stretchable OLED Displays
A vertically decoupled multilayer SOLED architecture separates emissive pixel islands from deformable interconnects, allowing low‐modulus elastomeric layers to accommodate applied strain and suppress strain transfer to the OLED region. This design, combined with transparent hybrid encapsulation, enables a high fill factor (∼75%), stretchability ...

AB-stacked bilayer β12–borophene as a promising anode material for alkali metal-ion batteries [PDF]
As the lightest 2D- material, monolayer borophene exhibits a specific charge capacity of 1860 mAh g-1 for Li-ion batteries, which is four times higher than that of graphite and is one of the highest specific charge capacities ever reported for 2D anode ...

Biodegradable 3D‐Printable and Coatable Antifouling Composites for Marine Applications
Marine biofouling damages submerged surfaces and raises greenhouse gas emissions. Biodegradable antifouling biocomposites were developed by hot‐mixing beeswax, Tween 80, and calcium stearate or stearic acid. Adjusting the component ratio enables processing via hot‐pressing, 3D‐printing, or dip‐coating.

Unveiling degradation mechanisms of anode-free Li-metal batteries
Anode-free Li-metal batteries (AFLMBs), in which Li+ + ions from the cathode are deposited on a Cu substrate and the deposited Li-metal serves as the anode, exhibit higher energy density compared to Li-metal batteries (LMBs).

This work reveals the influence of polymer side‐chain electronic effects on the Li+ solvation sheath in gel polymer electrolytes. Electron‐donating side chains induce the strong Li+ coordination and FDMA‐dominated solvation, impeding Li+ desolvation, whereas electron‐withdrawing side chains weaken Li+ coordination, facilitating anion‐rich solvation and
