Community Assembly Processes in Tropical Intertidal Rockpool Fishes

Twelve tropical intertidal rock pools in El Zonte, El Salvador, were sampled twice monthly over 6 months (156 sampling events). Rock pool volume and substratum rugosity act as dominant environmental filters, with species‐specific traits, not phylogenetic relatedness, mediating responses.
