Prospective subtyping of head and neck basal cell carcinoma by dermoscopy and handheld RCM
Handheld reflectance confocal microscopy, alone or with dermoscopy, increases specificity, maintains high sensitivity and improves diagnostic confidence for head and neck basal cell carcinoma. It may offer a non‐invasive alternative to confirmatory biopsies when planning micrographically controlled surgery in clinically high‐risk cases.

Tongue pain mapping in 256 patients with lingual burning mouth syndrome identified distinct clinical phenotypes according to pain distribution.
