Differential fault attack on LiCi cipher

open access: yes网络与信息安全学报, 2021
LiCi lightweight block cipher is a new algorithm proposed in 2017. With advantages of small structure and low energy consumption, LiCi is more suitable for resource-constrained environments such as the internet of things (IoT). In the design document of

Bit-based Integral Attack on LiCi Algorithm [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2020
To analyze the current ability of LiCi algorithm to resist integral attacks, this paper uses the bit-based division property and the MILP search tool to search for the integral distinguisher of the LiCi algorithm. The obtained longest round of integral ...

Correlation Power Analysis of Lightweight Block Cipher Algorithm LiCi

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2021
Abstract The lightweight block cipher algorithm LiCi processes the input plaintexts into high 32-bits and low 32-bits respectively in Feistel structure, and the corresponding keys of these two parts are not related. Therefore, keys of the first round can be cracked independently, and the computational complexity can be reduced from 264 ...

LiCi: A new ultra-lightweight block cipher

2017 International Conference on Emerging Trends & Innovation in ICT (ICEI), 2017
In this paper, we have presented a new lightweight, low power block cipher “LiCi”. The cipher LiCi has Feistel based network which operates on 64 bits plain text and with the help of 128 bits key length it generates 64 bits cipher text. This cipher design shows good performance both on hardware as well as on software platforms.

An Area-Optimized Architecture for LiCi Cipher

2020
With the rise in ubiquitous computing in resource-constrained devices, there is the huge emphasis being laid on minimal area consumption, power utilization, and optimum cost without compromising on the security objectives. Selecting lower area overhead as the target, two architectures for LiCi cipher are proposed, which primarily reduce the LUTs ...
