Lie Rings of (anti-)symmetric Derivations of Commutative Rings
[[abstract]]Let R be a 2-torsion free commutative ring with involution *, and δ a non-zero derivation of R. Let S be the set of symmetric elements in R and K the set of anti-symmetric elements in R.

Objective Race and household income impact outcomes in patients with rheumatic conditions; however, their role in pediatric antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)–associated vasculitis (AAV) remains poorly understood. We aimed to evaluate whether race and ethnicity and household income are associated with severe AAV disease and renal outcomes among

Exact solution of a mathematical model for human muscular motion
An ordinary differential equation (ODE) which models human muscular movement is considered. A functional form of the model parameter is specified through the Lie symmetry approach, yielding a different expression from the one derived in the previous ...

Some complete Lie superalgebras
In the present paper, we give the derivation algebra Derg and the holomorph h(g) of the finite dimensional Heisenberg superalgebra g over the complex field C. We also give the derivation algebra Derh(g) of h(g).

CENTRAL DERIVATIONS OF LIE ALGEBRAS
This paper gives a number of simple results on various kinds of derivations. The terminology is at times a little obscure.

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

Simple Lie algebras and their classification
This thesis is about the classification of simple Lie algebras. We start with some basic structure theory given in Chapter 2. Thereafter in Chapters 3 to 5 we give the complete classification over a field of characteristic zero.

The Lie structure of a commutative ring with derivation
Let $R$ be a commutative ring with identity and δ be a derivation of $R$. Then the set, $R$δ, of all derivations of $R$ of the form $r$δ : x → $r$δ(x), $r$ ∈ $R$, is a Lie subring of the Lie ring $D$(R) of derivations of $R$.

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for
