A Sustainable Processing Route for Open Cell Glass Foams With Hierarchical Pore Structure

open access: yesJournal of the American Ceramic Society, Volume 109, Issue 3, March 2026.
A sodium‐borosilicate glass powder carbonate mixture is mixed with an acidified silica solution. CO2‐gas evolution takes place, and the liquid foam quickly hardens due to condensation of the dissolved silica. The obtained, dried green bodies with an open‐cell structure are heat‐treated and subsequently submitted to a phase‐separation/leaching procedure

Using, Promoting and Shaping Europeanisation Through Projectification: The Case of Higher Education Institutions

open access: yesJCMS: Journal of Common Market Studies, Volume 64, Issue 2, Page 835-858, March 2026.
Abstract Actors who benefit from the European Union's (EU) opportunity structures strive to expand EU policy‐making. A central manner of benefitting from EU opportunity structures is the acquisition of EU funding, which then is implemented through projects and has led to research concerned with the projectification of EU public policy‐making.

Elevated Salivary Theobromine and Long‐Term Improvement of Periodontal Health in Two Cohort Studies

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Periodontology, Volume 53, Issue 3, Page 445-454, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Theobromine, a methylxanthine mainly found in chocolate, has been suggested to possess various health‐promoting properties. This study aimed to investigate the long‐term effect of salivary theobromine levels on periodontitis severity using 7‐ and 10‐year follow‐up data from the prospective Studies of Health in Pomerania (SHIP‐TREND ...

Optical stability of 3D‐printed and milled zirconia after artificial aging and immersion in liquids: An in vitro study

open access: yesJournal of Prosthodontics, Volume 35, Issue 3, Page 375-381, March 2026.
Abstract Purpose To assess the impact of artificial aging and immersion in common liquids on the optical properties of 3D‐printed and milled zirconia. Materials and Methods Monolithic zirconia discs (N = 100) were fabricated using two methods: 3Y‐TZP for milling (e.max ZirCAD LT BL, Ivoclar Vivadent) and printable 3Y‐TZP material (LithaCon 3Y 230) for ...
