Reprogramming Tumor Cell Death via Processing Natural Drug to Carbon Dots Overcomes Collagen Barrier and Activates Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A traditional Chinese medicine‐derived carbon dots nanoplatform reprograms tumor cell death from apoptosis to necroptosis, dismantling therapy‐induced collagen barriers and promoting immunogenic death. pH‐responsive hydrogel assembled from carbon dots for localized delivery, this strategy suppresses primary tumors and metastasis, offering a new ...

PRELIVE: A Framework for Predicting Lipid Nanoparticles In Vivo Efficacy and Reducing Reliance on Animal Testing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
PREdicting LNP In Vivo Efficacy (PRELIVE) framework enables the prediction of lipid nanoparticle (LNPs) organ‐specific delivery through dual modeling approaches. Composition‐based models using formulation parameters and protein corona‐based models using biological fingerprints both achieve high predictive accuracy across multiple organs.

Lien social, lien familial

open access: yesCalenda, 2007

VIVID: A qPCR‐Based Platform for Sensitive and Quantitative In Vivo Tracking of Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces VIVID (Vesicle In Vivo Identification using DNA), a qPCR‐based platform that tracks PCR‐amplifiable DNA tags loaded in the EVs for accurate and quantifiable EV biodistribution in vivo. ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) represent promising carriers for nucleic acid therapeutics, offering advantages over synthetic nanoparticles ...

A Novel Nanoscale FDSOI MOSFET with Block-Oxide

open access: yesActive and Passive Electronic Components, 2013
We demonstrate improved device performance by applying oxide sidewall spacer technology to a block-oxide-enclosed Si body to create a fully depleted silicon-on-insulator (FDSOI) nMOSFET, which overcomes the need for a uniform ultrathin silicon film.

Numerical simulations of cometary dust [PDF]

open access: yes
Most observations of comets are done photometrically or spectrophotometrically. The interpretation of the aperture-averaged flux is relatively simple for an isotropic, radially expanding coma of infinite extent - the canonical model.

Drug‐Free Thrombolysis Mediated by Physically Activated Micro/Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Overview of particle‐mediated thrombolytic effects (thermal, mechanical, and chemical) and their activating physical stimuli (light, ultrasound, and magnetic field) in drug‐free thrombolysis. ABSTRACT Thrombus‐associated disorders rank among the world's leading causes of death, with ischemic heart disease and stroke as the main contributors.

Why is end‐of‐life inpatient cost high among cancer patients? A prospective cohort study

open access: yesCancer Medicine
Background Inpatient cost for cancer patients is high during the last year of life, but reasons for this are not understood. We aim to understand the type of hospital admissions and inpatient services associated with an increase in inpatient cost in last
