Fatigue Crack Growth Life Prediction of 6061 Al-Alloy under Load Ratio Effect by Using ANFIS [PDF]
Fatigue crack growth under constant amplitude loading for a particular material strongly depends on load ratio (R). The prediction of fatigue crack growth life under such situation through deterministic approach is a tedious task.

ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.

ABSTRACT Introduction Pulmonary dysfunction and sleep abnormalities are common in children with sickle cell disease (SCD) and are associated with worse clinical outcomes. Whether spirometry abnormalities are associated with polysomnography (PSG) findings remains unclear.

Low Cycle Fatigue Behaviors of Single Crystal Nickel-based Superalloy at Temperatures of 600~760 ℃
Low cycle fatigue (LCF) tests were conducted on a single crystal nickel-based superalloy DD6 with crystallographic orientations [001] at different elevated temperatures. The typical temperatures selected are 600 ℃, 650 ℃, 700 ℃ and 760 ℃, which represent

ABSTRACT Background Families of children with cancer experience significant financial strain, even with universal healthcare. Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours

A New Cumulative Fatigue Damage Rule Based on Dynamic Residual S-N Curve and Material Memory Concept
This paper introduces a new phenomenological cumulative damage rule to predict damage and fatigue life under variable amplitude loading. The rule combines a residual S-N curve approach and a material memory concept to describe the damage accumulation ...

Postreproductive Life Predicted by Primate Patterns [PDF]
Regression analyses of primate life spans on recently revised female body and brain masses of Old World primates predict a human life span of between 72 years and 91 years-estimates that exceed the age of human menopause (and prior estimates) by well over 20 years.
