Normalized lift: an energy interpretation of the lift coefficient simplifies comparisons of the lifting ability of rotating and flapping surfaces. [PDF]
For a century, researchers have used the standard lift coefficient C(L) to evaluate the lift, L, generated by fixed wings over an area S against dynamic pressure, ½ρv(2), where v is the effective velocity of the wing.

Modified Zweifel Coefficient and Lift Coefficient Definition Considering Compressible Effect
The accurate prediction of blade loading is crucial to designing efficient turbomachinery, but traditional methods often neglect the impact of compressibility, leading to inaccuracies at high speeds.

Investigations on the Interfering Factor of Single Synthetic Jet Actuator on Improving the Efficiency of Wing Control Surface [PDF]
After the deflection of the wing control surface, flow separation is easily generated at the trailing edge of the wing, which will reduce the lift coefficient and the control surface efficiency. The rudder of the wing is aileron. If the lift generated by

Lift coefficient estimation for a rapidly pitching airfoil [PDF]
We develop a method for estimating the instantaneous lift coefficient on a rapidly pitching airfoil that uses a small number of pressure sensors and a measurement of the angle of attack. The approach assimilates four surface pressure measurements with a modified nonlinear state space model (Goman-Khrabrov model) through a Kalman filter.

Lift measurement of airfoil AH93-157 from wall pressure distribution [PDF]
Measurement of the lift coefficient of the AH93-157 airfoil was performed by measuring the static pressure distribution on the wind tunnel walls along the test-section.
