A Microbial Lipid‐ATP Synthase Axis Fuels NK Cell Antitumor Activity
This study focuses on the mechanism by which gut microbiota‐derived outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) regulate NK cell antitumor activity. B. intestinalis is identified to decrease extra‐intestinal tumor growth via its OMVs enriched in sphingosine (SP).

Does outdoor light contribute to ovarian cancer mortality? Insights from a case-control study
Unfavorable light environments, including artificial light at night (ALAN) and ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation, may be linked to ovarian cancer, but this association remains uncertain.

Productivity of Florida Springs: Second annual report to Biology Branch, Office of Naval Research progress from January 1 to December 31, 1954 [PDF]
Production measurements at different times of the year indicate a linear relationship of light intensity and overall production at about 8% of the visible light energy reaching plant level. Measurements of a coral reef at Eniwetok indicate 6%.

Ecological Adaptation Mechanisms Underlying Successful Plant Reproduction
During floral induction, various environmental and endogenous signals converge to regulate the florigen protein, which is transported from leaves to the SAM to initiate flowering. Within the SAM, a complex network of receptor kinases and small peptides orchestrates floral development with high spatiotemporal precision.

Laser‐induced graphene (LIG) provides a scalable, laser‐direct‐written route to porous graphene architecture with tunable chemistry and defect density. Through heterojunction engineering, catalytic functionalization, and intrinsic self‐heating, LIG achieves highly sensitive and selective detection of NOX, NH3, H2, and humidity, supporting next ...

Evidence for Rapid Variability in the Optical Light Curve of the Type Ia SN 2014J
We present results of high-cadence monitoring of the optical light curve of the nearby, Type Ia SN 2014J in M82 using the 2.3m Aristarchos telescope. $B$ and $V$-band photometry on days 15-18 after $t_{max}(B)$, obtained with a cadence of 2 min per band,
