INFLUENCE OF LIGHT ON THE STABILITY AND SHELF LIFE OF OLIVE OIL
Acta Horticulturae, 2011Extra virgin olive oil is obtained from olives using only mechanical processing steps under slight thermal conditions. Although this oil is a high-quality oil, its shelf life during storage is limited due to oxidative and hydrolytic degradations.

THE INFLUENCE OF LIGHT ON THE SHELF LIFE OF PACKAGED OLIVE OIL
Acta Horticulturae, 2005A mathematical model was introduced to describe the oxidative alterations taking place in packaged olive oil stored in various packaging materials and conditions. The consequent set of mass transport equations for the diffusion of oxygen through the packaging wall and the reaction of hydroperoxides inside the oil mass for various combinations of the ...

A Basic Research on Size and Angle of Gradient of Light Shelf
Current Research on Material, Architecture and Civil Engineering, 2013The natural lighting technique in architecture has developed into a philosophical meaning on the strength of technological advancement on artificial light. However, with the emergence of energy reduction and ecofriendly alternative energy technology, natural lighting has gained momentum for secondary development from the two perspectives, i.e.

ACM SIGGRAPH 2007 sketches, 2007
Compositing an actor or real-world object into a virtual background is a powerful and widely used tool in movic and TV production. To create a natural composite, it is necessary to maintain photometric consistency between the foreground object and the background environment. Various light stage systems have been developed to achieve this goal.

Accelerated Shelf Life Testing (ASLT) of Oils by Light and Temperature Exploitation
Journal of the American Oil Chemists' Society, 2011AbstractThe peroxide formation rate was measured in sunflower and soybean oils exposed to increasing light intensity, from 0 to 8000 lx, at 10, 20 and 30 °C. Results indicated that shelf life estimation of photosensitive foods under actual or accelerated conditions cannot be correctly achieved if the effect of light is not taken into account.
