Ultra‐Low‐L Sub‐MeV Electron Microbursts During the May 2024 Super Storm
Abstract During the May 2024 super storm, we identified sub‐second microburst‐type relativistic electron precipitation events at McIlwain's L∼2 $L\sim 2$ in low‐Earth orbit using the Gamma‐ray Burst Monitor (CGBM) onboard the CALorimetric Electron Telescope on the International Space Station.

A Delayed Return Stroke Driven by Channel Charge Accumulation
Abstract Based on combined VHF interferometer and fast/slow antenna measurements, we document an abnormal bolt‐from‐the‐blue lightning flash, which included two strokes. There are four successive attempted dart leaders following the first return stroke. The last detected downward leader stopped advancing at approximately 94 m and decayed.

Abstract Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is a key indicator of unhealthy air, yet its sub‐daily spatiotemporal variability has not been widely characterized across large spatial scales in North America. Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution (TEMPO), a geostationary hyperspectral UV‐Vis instrument, offers up to 12 hourly observations per location ...

Longitudinal Mie resonances in silicon nanodisks, excited by an azimuthally–radially polarized beam, generate strong optical chirality gradients with minimal achiral background. Magnetic quadrupole modes enable selective enantiomer trapping, achieving predicted selectivities over 100 for |κ|≥0.03 $\vert \kappa \vert \ge 0.03$ and robust performance ...
