In this paper, we have considered and analyzed the issues of relevance and expediency of using Lightning and Type-C cables, advantages and disadvantages in comparison with each other. The features of each type of connector are clarified, a table of technical characteristics of connectors is given, including data on charging power and data transfer rate.
