Molecular simulation of gas adsorption characteristics and diffusion in micropores of lignite

, 2020
In order to study the adsorption characteristics of single component, binary and ternary mixed gases in lignite, the microscopic processes of CO2 and N2 injection for CH4 desorption was revealed.

Enhanced lignite flotation using interfacial nanobubbles based on temperature difference method

Fuel, 2021
Froth flotation is the primary method for the separation and upgrading of fine coal particles. However, this method is ineffective for lignite which is more hydrophilic than other types of coal due to the abundant oxygenated functional groups, cracks ...

The biotic effects of lignite on humic acid components conversion during chicken manure composting.

Bioresource Technology
Targeted regulation of composting to convert organic matter into humic acid (HA) holds significant importance in compost quality. Owing to its low carbon content, chicken manure compost often requires carbon supplements to promote the humification ...

Lignite microorganisms

Biology Bulletin, 2007
The first demonstration that samples of lignite at a depth of 10 m are considerably enriched in bacteria is reported. According to direct microscopy, the abundance of bacteria was about 107 cells/g. About 70% of cells had intact cell membranes and small size, which points to their anabiotic state.

Particle size effect on pore structure characteristics of lignite determined via low-temperature nitrogen adsorption

, 2020
There is currently no uniform particle size of lignite for low-temperature nitrogen adsorption. Further, it is still unclear whether particle size has an effect on lignite pore structure. In this study, low-temperature nitrogen adsorption tests were used

Preparation and evaluation of lignite flotation collector derived from waste hot-pot oil

, 2020
Due to poor hydrophobicity, large amounts of petroleum-based collectors are required for upgrading lignite. In this paper, Waste Hot-pot Oil (WHPO) collectors from the catering industry were prepared via filtration, heating, and catalysis.

Hydrothermal carbonization of miscanthus: Processing, properties, and synergistic Co-combustion with lignite

, 2021
Hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) is an evolving technology that converts biomass, such as Miscanthus, into high energy solid fuel known as hydrochar. The reaction time and temperature of HTC significantly influenced the hydrochar physical and chemical ...

Experimental investigation on microstructure evolution and spontaneous combustion properties of secondary oxidation of lignite

Chemical engineering research & design, 2019
Effective prevention and control of spontaneous fire of low-rank coal at underground goafs are critical to ensure coal mine safety. The characteristics of secondary oxidation of two lignites types were investigated.
