Limb salvage surgery for pathological fractures in osteosarcoma [PDF]
The local treatment of pathological fracture in patients with a primary osteosarcoma remains controversial. The αvβ3‐mediated SPRC@MPDA‐RGD targets broken endothelial cells and controllably releases SPRC. CSE is then activated to produce endogenous H2S, which inhibits ferritinophagy. In brief, H2S inhibits autophagy by activating the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway, thereby suppressing the ferroptosis process mediated by NCOA4, and ultimately promoting the ...

The results showed that the reduction of plasma 24‐hydroxycholesterol (24‐OHC) was related to the cognitive decline in elderly surgical patients. Neuroinflammation induced by anesthesia and surgery significantly downregulated SREBP2 in hippocampal reactive astrocytes, resulting in reduced cholesterol synthesis.

Upon NIR irradiation at 808 nm, the activity of TRPV4 was inhibited by M2M@BPSC, which led to reduced calcium influx, mitochondrial protection, and, importantly, the transcriptional activation of the STAT6‐EGR2 pathway. The improved macrophage function indirectly readjusts the equilibrium between C‐ECM and F‐ECM to reconstruct a suitable ...
