Modification of the existing maximum residue levels for tau‐fluvalinate in citrus fruits

open access: yesEFSA Journal, 2017
In accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, the applicant Adama Irvita N.V. submitted a request to the competent national authority in Denmark to modify the existing maximum residue levels (MRLs) for the active substance tau‐fluvalinate ...

Absolute Continuity of Quasiconformal Mappings on Curves [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
.: We show that a quasiconformal mapping between two proper, locally Ahlfors Q-regular metric spaces, Q > 1, is absolutely continuous on almost every curve.

Molecular Cross‐Linking of MXenes: Tunable Interfaces and Chemiresistive Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, Ti3C2Tx MXenes are initially functionalized using oleylamine ligands to form stable dispersions in an organic solvent. Subsequently ligand exchange with α,ω‐diaminoalkanes enables cross‐linking, along with precise tuning of interfaces. This structural control translates into tunable charge transport and responsive VOC sensing, showing ...

Synchronized Electro‐Chromo‐Emissive Devices Using a Mixed Ionic‐Electronic Conductive Layer for XR Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A single cell type Electro‐chromo‐emissive (ECECL) device integrating synchronized electrochromic (EC) and electrochemiluminescent (ECL) functions is developed using a mixed ionic‐electronic conductor (MIEC). A MIEC layer reduces ionic/electronic resistance, enabling ultrafast switching and enhanced optical contrast.

LIME [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of Experimental Medicine, 2003
Lymphocyte membrane rafts contain molecules critical for immunoreceptor signaling. Here, we report identification of a new raft-associated adaptor protein LIME (Lck-interacting molecule) expressed predominantly in T lymphocytes. LIME becomes tyrosine phosphorylated after cross-linking of the CD4 or CD8 coreceptors.

Multimodal Structural Color Graphics Based on Colloidal Photonic Microdome Arrays

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A hybrid photonic system combining colloidal crystals and microscale domes is designed to achieve four switchable optical states via the interplay of Bragg reflection and TIR interference. The graphics composed of the photonic microdome arrays provide tunable, angle‐sensitive structural coloration and concealed‐to‐revealed transitions, offering a ...

Retracted: Can the chemical industry solve the climate change? On the role of human energy production, renewable energies, and the potential of chemistry as a solution provider

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView., 2023
Let us consider an alternative perspective on climate change: The sum of solar radiation and heat generated by human activity result in a net energy input of 1.96 times that of the Sun on the Earth's surface. The expanding global population is expected to exacerbate this issue. Potential solutions are proposed, including replacement and heat recycling.

Organic Citrus: Challenges in Production and Trade [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Organic citrus still is a niche and makes about 1-2% of the global citrus production. However, it is increasing year-by-year in parallel with the increasing demand for organic products.

Silver Ion‐Mediated [hk1]‐Oriented Sb2Se3 Crystal Growth for Efficient Photoelectrochemical Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ag+‐mediated hydrothermal crystal engineering promotes preferential [hk1]‐oriented growth of Sb2Se3 via an ultrathin MoOx interlayer, improving crystallinity and suppressing non‐radiative recombination. The optimized Ag+ treatment photocathode delivers 24.7 mA cm−2 at 0 VRHE and improved stability, revealing an ion‐modulated route to high‐performance ...

Causality in relativistic many body theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
The stability of the nuclear matter system with respect to density fluctuations is examined exploring in detail the pole structure of the electro-nuclear response functions. Making extensive use of the method of dispersion integrals we calculate the full
