Fibroblast activation protein alpha‐positive (FAPα+) macrophages, a distinct subset of multiple myeloma (MM)‐associated macrophages, drive immune evasion in MM through multi‐faceted mechanisms. FAPα physically interacts with vimentin (VIM) and triggers its phosphorylation at the S72 residue, which in turn induces PD‐L1 transcription. Additionally, FAPα

A Fr\'{e}chet law and an Erd\"os-Philipp law for maximal cuspidal windings
In this paper we establish a Fr\'{e}chet law for maximal cuspidal windings of the geodesic flow on a Riemannian surface associated with an arbitrary finitely generated, essentially free Fuchsian group with parabolic elements. This result extends previous

Robotic Materials With Bioinspired Microstructures for High Sensitivity and Fast Actuation
In the review paper, design rationale and approaches for bioinspired sensors and actuators in robotics applications are presented. These bioinspired microstructure strategies implemented in both can improve the performance in several ways. Also, recent ideas and innovations that embed robotic materials with logic and computation with it are part of the

A Linearly Deformable Pneumatic Scalable Microgripper for Universal Mid‐Air Micromanipulation
This work presents a fully 3D printed soft microgripper capable of active adhesion control through a pneumatic system. Its modular design can reach a high adhesion switching ratio of 373 and free release of micro‐objects at 100 μm$\umu \rm {m}$ dimension.

Cryo‐EM analysis reveals an asymmetric MMOH–MMOB complex with distinct protomers, where MMOB binding triggers structural rearrangements from the surface to the active site. This conformational asymmetry shortens the Fe···Fe distance to 2.7 Å in one protomer, forming a geometry suitable for O2 activation and supporting a sequential catalytic mechanism ...

The Casimir effect for thin plasma sheets and the role of the surface plasmons
We consider the Casimir force betweeen two dielectric bodies described by the plasma model and between two infinitely thin plasma sheets. In both cases in addition to the photon modes surface plasmons are present in the spectrum of the electromagnetic ...
