Approximation of improper priors [PDF]
We propose a convergence mode for positive Radon measures which allows a sequence of probability measures to have an improper limiting measure. We define a sequence of vague priors as a sequence of probability measures that converges to an improper prior.

Bayesian Inference for the Kumaraswamy Distribution under Generalized Progressive Hybrid Censoring
Incomplete data are unavoidable for survival analysis as well as life testing, so more and more researchers are beginning to study censoring data.

Modeling and analysis of recovery time for the COVID-19 patients: a Bayesian approach
The ongoing pandemic of COVID-19 has changed every aspect of life. Most of the people who become a victim of COVID-19 experience mild to moderate symptoms, but some people may become seriously ill.

Reliability Estimation of Inverse Weibull Distribution Based on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Lifetime Data
As a commonly used model in reliability analysis, the inverse Weibull distribution (IWD) is widely applied in various scientific fields. This paper considers the reliability estimation of the IWD based on intuitionistic fuzzy lifetime data.

Harold Jeffreys's Theory of Probability Revisited
Published exactly seventy years ago, Jeffreys's Theory of Probability (1939) has had a unique impact on the Bayesian community and is now considered to be one of the main classics in Bayesian Statistics as well as the initiator of the objective Bayes ...

On the Sample Information About Parameter and Prediction [PDF]
The Bayesian measure of sample information about the parameter, known as Lindley's measure, is widely used in various problems such as developing prior distributions, models for the likelihood functions and optimal designs.

On the proper treatment of improper distributions [PDF]
The axiomatic foundation of probability theory presented by Kolmogorov has been the basis of modern theory for probability and statistics. In certain applications it is, however, necessary or convenient to allow improper (unbounded) distributions, which ...
