Projection, Spatial Correlations, and Anisotropies in a Large and Complete Sample of Abell Clusters [PDF]
An analysis of R >= 1 Abell clusters is presented for samples containing recent redshifts from the MX Northern Abell Cluster Survey. The newly obtained redshifts from the MX Survey as well as those from the ESO Nearby Abell Cluster Survey (ENACS) provide

Ultrafast light field tomography for snapshot transient and non-line-of-sight imaging
Cameras with extreme speeds are enabling technologies in both fundamental and applied sciences. However, existing ultrafast cameras are incapable of coping with extended three-dimensional scenes and fall short for non-line-of-sight imaging, which ...

Reconfigurable ULAs for Line-of-Sight MIMO Transmission [PDF]
This paper establishes an upper bound on the capacity of line-of-sight multiantenna channels over all possible antenna arrangements and shows that uniform linear arrays (ULAs) with an SNR-dependent rotation of transmitter and/or receiver can closely ...

SIRT4 positively regulates autophagy via ULK1, but independently of HDAC6 and OPA1
Cells expressing SIRT4 (H161Y), a catalytically inactive mutant of the sirtuin SIRT4, fail to upregulate LC3B‐II and exhibit a reduced autophagic flux under stress conditions. Interestingly, SIRT4(H161Y) promotes phosphorylation of ULK1 at S638 and S758 that are associated with inhibition of autophagy initiation.

UWB Indoor Localization Based on Artificial Rabbit Optimization Algorithm and BP Neural Network
In the field of ultra-wideband (UWB) indoor localization, traditional backpropagation neural networks (BPNNs) are limited by their susceptibility to local minima, which restricts their ability to achieve global optimization.

Fast Back-Projection for Non-Line of Sight Reconstruction [PDF]
Recent works have demonstrated non-line of sight (NLOS) reconstruction by using the time-resolved signal frommultiply scattered light. These works combine ultrafast imaging systems with computation, which back-projects the recorded space-time signal to ...

Learned feature embeddings for non-line-of-sight imaging and recognition
Objects obscured by occluders are considered lost in the images acquired by conventional camera systems, prohibiting both visualization and understanding of such hidden objects.

Terahertz Line-Of-Sight MIMO Communication: Theory and Practical Challenges [PDF]
A relentless trend in wireless communications is the hunger for bandwidth, and fresh bandwidth is only to be found at ever-higher frequencies. While 5G systems are seizing the mmWave band, the attention of researchers is shifting already to the terahertz
